Overall , in my many years of reporting on our Board Competitions I have NEVER had so little to eulogise about with members generally producing dismal displays which is reflected in the dearth of positive uplifting comments in this report . Your reporter can only hope that we all pull our golfing socks up and show our beloved course that we DO have the talent to give it a good spanking from time to time although today only two of us bested it ... the HalloFamer Royle brothers !
